I’m a disabled Vietnam vet. I’ve had for the most part VERY good care from the VA. As I set here typing this recovering from my second cataract surgery I had this morning .

about 3 weeks ago….the bill for pharmacies only was $96k

The prices are exorbient.

I had PT following knee replacement a few years ago. Was always offered a 10 minute ice pack after the PT, later saw the bill for those, $50 a pop. Health care cost in this wonderful country of ours is obscene.

They already pay most of the taxes. Loopholes keep the economy going. The luxury tax in the 90's was a full blown unmitigated disaster. It liked to killed private jet and yacht businesses.

It’s cost a lot to burry someone. I believe just over 10k last time we had a death in the family. I said dang for that much my coffin better be 24k with twin colt pythons. It cost to much to even die now. Barely afford to live, now can’t afford to die lol.

She must be talking about Medicaid bills. They also have something like a 2 year prior rule that keeps this asset shifting avoidance from Medicaid bills from being successful....

You may rethink that when you see an itemized hospital bill you’ve been given !
My son had a seizure 11 years ago. Was billed $1,700 for a “ tracheostomy tray “ because quote “ it was in the room if needed “ ! Never used. Once on site it’s considered used ! Told them to % off ! It’s all for profit !

Had an MI in '06. Stent placed. Nurse came in the room carrying some type of "compression hose" for circulation in my legs. I said, "How much is that?" She said, "$600" I screamed at the top of my lungs, "GET THAT ****ING THING OUT OF MY ROOM AND IT BETTER NOT BE ON MY BILL!!! I CAN ****ING WALK FINE!!!"

In '04 I was in for a micro perforation and while there for 5 days charged $1,333 per day for "Room & Board." I never had even an ice cube during the entire stay. Not even a glass of water! ****ing ass pirates!
