You're right!!Marriage is fine, it's when the government gets involved that it not.
I did good getting married, but I'm not sure I'd marry again if somethin happened to my Wife. I don't see anyone having that much patience.....🤣Nor myself for that matter.......A lot easier to get along if you're not married. Knowing you can just walk away, no harm, no foul.
Don't know how many folks got along great living together, then it all blew up after that commitment ceremony.
My wife is truly a saint, as I'm sure many can imagine. I can't fathom somebody being more tolerant of or accommodating to me. If they were, I'd shy away due to their obvious mental issues.I did good getting married, but I'm not sure I'd marry again if somethin happened to my Wife. I've been incredibly fortunate. But what you describe probably covers 98% of all marriages. And that's the problem. People expect sunshine and roses 24/7 365. And when they figure out it's not reality, they bail. Promises sworn before God and or each other be damned. We are really a push button instant gratification society. It's especially sad when kids are involved. Otherwise it's just regular sad. Presumably nobody gets married thinking it's temporary. Its wonderful. And awful. And amazing. And horrible. And sweet. And rough.
