OP - I do agree with the premise of the thread. It does kind of come off as brash, but well it's the truth. It's what I have said all along. Everybody thinks that excuse (running to the mountains or woods) will save their asses. Far from it. Indeed...

Who is "everybody"? Especially if we are speaking in the context of this forum, I think it's pretty clear that simply "running to the mountains or woods" is NOT Plan A for most people.

sorry dunkel everybody in the context of amateur "survivalists" or lazy asses whichever you prefer to call them. ive heard this since 1984. same old ****.... hence "everybody" in the general sense of the term.
