To grease or not to grease your trailer hitch ball

I lube mine with air and rain water & car paint when a car hits me in the rear end.

I find that reds and blues have the most lubricity.

Well if I did I would use K-Y jelly.

The years when I was working with my Dad I don't think he ever greased the trailer hitch ball.

I fingered the ball hole of a contractors trailer that was sitting on this job site just now and it was dry. So, he doesn’t grease his balls
