In the market for a new stackable box 26 or 27 inches wide
I went to all the box stores and harbor freight this weekend and they have junk.
At my age this will be my last one, just looking for something of good quality.
Got any ideas that I need to look at?

Check the secondhand market. Tool truck brand boxes can be had for 25% or less of new.

I got this one only a year ago for $500.

KRL 756.

Craftsman are always cheap on FB Marketplace. Young buck mechanic goes in to a shop as a rookie with a Craftsman box and then dumps it in heartbeat for a Snap On/Mac/Matco, etc. I have seen it a million times.

I’m looking for a 26 or 27 inch roller chest with another one on top
So a double stack
It’s for my home and I have a Craftsman now that needs to be replaced.
The HF boxes are the best out there right now that the box stores sell and would be a real good box if they would put some quality ball bearing slides on them but I’m looking for something better

If you want a professional quality box and don’t mind the price. Snapon, Mac, Matco.
Sunex makes some pretty solid boxes too. I’d buy used.
