Trying to settle a gun debate between me and my girlfriends father!

you buy her the G26 and let him buy her the revolver....now she's got 2 guns!! much safer....:thumb:
and when she goes to the range to shoot each one to see which one she should carry neither of the two males should be around and have her bring a target representing each shot group with one pistol per target, the one that is more accurate with her is her carry gun.

Proficiency is not just about accuracy. The shooter must be able to operate/ manipulate the gun.
Lots of ladies can hit more accurately w/ a semi. but cannot easily retract the slide even after being shown proper technique.

So he wants to but her a new Carey gun, and she shoot my glock 19 all the time and loves it. But he is set on buying a revolver, he goes on about gun safety and control. But I say it's all about the person holding the weapon!!!!

So what do you say? Glock 26 or hammerless 38 revolver?
what does she say?..she is right no matter what!

The biggest complaint most women have in regards to a semiautomatic pistol is that they cannot rack the slide. And while it can be carried ready to go, if there is a failure they could not pull the slide back to fix.

of course she will have to be taught how to operate the guns prior, and about things such as hang fires for her/others safety (i would think the buyer father and boyfriend in this case would verify that the guns operate proper prior to the testing by the daughter). my idea would simply relieve some of the stress and anxiety to please the boyfriend and father at the same time

also carry method has to be considered, a dao revolver is safer if she just has it sitting her purse then a placing a loaded glock in her purse, also the revolver might be quicker to deploy as the glock would need more of a holster possibly
