Two Alaska State Troopers Slain

This hits close to home. A young man who graduated with my daughter and who is an Air Force veteran just graduated from the Alaska State Trooper Academy last November. He hit the streets of Fairbanks solo about three weeks ago.

Prayers are with the entire Alaska State Trooper community at this time.

Anytime a Law Enforcement officer is murdered it is sad. You could not pay me enough to run around and deal with the dregs of society the way they do. I would lose my cool on the first day and Rodney King somebody. Horrible story.

I hate for anyone to be killed, but this happening in the line of duty hit close to home for me for obvious reasons. Thoughts and prayers go out to their family and department.
