Two weeks without a cigarette.............

The local bait shop about a mile from my house here on the lake charges 7.50 for a pack of reds.

YOU CAN DO IT man.

Getting back into fighting shape will be my next project.

I've been cutting back and skipping some of my normal smoke breaks for the past month. at least I'm below a pack a day now, still working on it though. I've been getting outside and exercising in the midst of it to try and help.

Good job.

They always say that it takes two weeks to make a new habit or break an old one. At least you're by the physical part now, the rest is in your head.

Kind of amazing how expensive cigarettes are though. I said back in the 70s that I'd quit if they ever went over $1 a pack... LOL.

I did quit about 5 years back now, and I can't believe how good it felt. Smoking a pack a day, plus extras if I drank just made me feel like garbage all the time. It's also kind of amazing how fast your body bounces back from that kind of abuse.
