For anyone legitmately trying to figure out if their "pistol" is now illegal; do not read this thread. You will simply get ****ed. The long and short of it is; all braces are illegal unless you are specifically disabled in a manner that is consistent with you needing said brace. If you try that route; they will undoubtedly ask for proof of your disability. Do not lean on the ADA to negate the need for proof when it comes to the feds. Additionally; even with a disability you are still only restricted to a 16 inch barrel. Plain and simple. The disability portion of the ruling still does not allow you to use what they consider an SBR (any barrel <16 inches). That's literally it. Gun owners took a massive L today. It is what it is. We get what we allow.

Yeah - once the law is the law, we need to obey, that simple. Also get out and vote fellas. I really do think that the concept of gun control, as an 'issue', really was, and is, influenced by foreign powers attempting to undermine U.S. national security by weakening the potential capabilities we have in the territorial defense of the American Homeland.

The rest of it is just standard Northeast Democrat Politics where the issues encountered in the wilds of NYC get Lowest Common Denominator'ed onto the Law-Abiding South.

We are up against some capable adversaries, sad to see law abiding citizens denied their arms in open defiance of the intention of the bill of rights. Here's just one example, although dated:

The problem with the dip****s is they want pictures of your SBR before you are approved.

Which means you have already committed a felony, by admission on paper, and admitted by you...signed by you (in their eyes, not the eyes of the law). This isn't just a registry it's entrapment as well.

I'm not worried about wait times going through the roof. The moment they cash my check is when I turn my guns into SBRs, ALWAYs. Not my problem they are slow. I'm not going to wait 30 days for someone to approve something I already paid for. I'd do the same for form-4s if I could, but any Form-1 I do is in SBR state day 1. In this case, I'll register a dozen for free. The moment I submit the forums is the moment I put stocks on them. Not my problem, they can hire more people or kick rocks.

With how widespread illegal glock full auto switches are with criminals in Chicago and elsewhere, I take ATF infringement on the rights of law abiding citizens as an affront to our constitutionally guaranteed rights, and a challenge against us to show up in _every_ election to vote.
