Upgrades for Ruger Mark III 22/45

I just picked up a Ruger Mark III 22/45 pistol and I love it. I've heard all the horror stories about taking it apart so I've trying to do some research before I give it a go.
Has anyone tried a Speed Strip Kit? Here's one I found online, let me know if there's a better option out there.

I'm not into the tacticool stuff, but what other mods/accessories do you all suggest to improve the function of a Mark III?

go to bullseye's guntalk online, they have the best instructions on disassembly. it makes it ALOT easier.

Once you strip it down a few times, it gets way easier. I wouldn't even bother with the speed strip kit. Best upgrades you can get are the Volquartsen Mark II Accurizing Kit along with the Mark II hammer bushing.

i agree with jwhited. it does get easier. if you remove the mag disconnect safety, it will be even easier. thats the bushing that was mentioned. but, its your call. you may want to have that safety feature. if i can figure out how to do it, i will post a link from bullseye that brogers mentioned.
