US flag at half-staff for Chavez - BOYCOTT CITGO

Did they think no one would notice? Citgo, the oil company, has its corporate headquarters in Houston but is owned by the national oil company of Venezuela. Following the death of President Hugo Chavez on Tuesday, the company did the patriotic thing and lowered its flags to half-staff.

The problem with boycotting Citgo is that you will probably hurt a lot of mom & pop gas stations - kind of like when everyone was boycotting BP after the oil spill. All that did was hurt the mom & pop BP stations, some of which went out of business. BP is still around.

I haven't bought a single gallon of gas from Citgo since I found out years ago they were owned by Venezuela.

I can see why they would fly the Venezuela flag at half-staff (Venezuela owned). But not the US flag! That is disrespectful to this country to lower our flag to an enemy of this country.
