USA Glock vs Austrian Glock

Because its ODT and if we cannot argue why glock is better than all others, we have to argue...which glock is the better glock haha
 
It's an Austrian gun, originally designed and built there. "USA" Glocks are Austrian gun parts assembled here. I always prefer originals, just like Colt SAA's vs Italian copies of Colt's.
And guns made in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, etc are some damn fine guns.
 
I have 2 Gen4 G17's

One is made in Austria and the other is made in the USA.

Both are like new and there is a very definite difference in the finish on the slides.

The Austrian slide is a dark, flat black.

The USA slide is black, but has almost a silver tint to it and is slicker feeling than the Austrian. I think this is what some sellers here are refering to as the "frying pan" finish.

Truth be told, I like the Austrian version better.
