Using Ballistol to clean and lube guns..

I really enjoy cleaning my guns. Some folks look at it as a necessary but not particularly pleasant task.
To me it’s very therapeutic and a great way to relax.
Hoppe's, Ballistol and gun grease are my aromatherapy.

Boeshield anybody? Never used it on firearms but I got a couple cans through my job. Works great on airplanes and lawn equipment.

I was at the gun shop today picking up some ammo for my 6.5 PRC and some targets and I picked up some Hoppes oil. The man that owned the gun shop was raving about Ballistol. I've heard of it but I never considered it for cleaning and lubing guns. Anybody have the skinny on this stuff? I bought a small can of it just in case it turned out to be something that I needed but I would like to know a little more about it before I use it.

I use it for long term storage. Works great and lasts for years. Kind of expensive though to use for day-to-day stuff.

We're five pages deep and I'm two fingers into this bourbon, so Imma jus' come out with it. Greg, spray it over your vessticles and see does it help with the swelling.

I love the smell of Hoppes! I loved cleaning guns when I was a kid because that stuff smelled so good.
