I'm guessing aftermarket products are readily available? It is certainly heavy for a carry, and I already have one. It can sit on my nightstand.

It's an early model CZ 75, 'pre-B' model.

Nothing special about it other than it looks like it was improted by A.A.L. probably in the late 70's or early 80's. The 'pre-B' designation indicates that it predated the addition of a firing-pin block, which occurred in mid-1985.

If you contact CZ they should be able to give you a more accurate birth-date for the gun. geezer 's probably your man for more specific information.
