All this talk about how po jesse has the right to sue Kyles estate and how Kyle shouldn't have writtien all those bad things in his book etc, etc. Do you even know what the "defamation" was? Kyle and some other Seals at a wake for a dead Seal in a bar and Ventura "allegedly" started runing his mouth and said that the seals were killing innocent people and deserved to lose a few men. Kyle didn't even name ventura in his book but called the person "Scruff face". Later in TV interviews he did name ventura. And ventura has responded that he has never even met Kyle. Sounds like it should be fairly easy to clear up.


The law really has no relation to right and wrong. If it did, ventura would be fined for being a jackass whether it happened or not. Kyle is dead and his widow doesn't deserve this grief aty the hands of a conspiracy crazed lunatic.

Liable is Liable. Just because you die after a Lawsuit is filed against you doesn't Release your Estate from Liability. Again I'm not sticking up for Ventura but just Like the Trayvon Martin Case "GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT". He didn't just file a Lawsuit against Kyle's Widow, this Lawsuit was filed June of 2012 against Kyle, almost a year BEFORE he was Murdered. It was upheld by the Court (Motion to Dismiss by Kyles Attorneys) that the Lawsuit can go Forward after Kyles Death, against his Estate. Again nothing unusual here. Just Legal and Media Pandering by the Attorneys.

......Back in February, Kyle filed a petition to have the case moved to U.S. District Court in St. Paul. Ventura considered dropping the case but after being contacted by several prominent former US Navy Seals, was “ordered” to go ahead with the lawsuit after "Kyle failed to agree to a settlement that would have seen him admit to lying and pay attorney fees".
One of those ex-SEALs is Ventura’s former instructor, the widely respected Terry “Mother” Moy, owner of the bar where the incident is alleged to have occurred. After investigating the incident, Moy and his fellow SEALs confirmed that the event never took place and that Kyle had invented it to generate publicity for his book. An added reason for their support of Ventura is the fact that they are sick of seeing Navy SEALs stab each other in the back for profit...............

he wasn't. He was in a UDT unit that became a SEAL unit AFTER he left. Look at it this way, if you were a security guard at a college, the you quit, and the next year they changed to police officers instead of security. Would you tell people you used to be a security guard, or would you tell them you used to be a cop?
