If you don’t have tenderness to the touch it’s most definitely not gout. I’m on week 2 in my knee and can just now walk around fairly normal. For 3 or 4 days, I couldn’t even have sheets touch my knee when I’d sleep.

Lol, I would agree, but this has been happening for years. Just now the pain is almost virtually gone after sharp pain hurting every step all day. I didn't take any Advil either.

Yeah, no tenderness. If I pushed really hard I could feel where it hurts but not recreate the pain I have while walking on it. Now it's vanishing again (not complaining).

It happens to us younger people too, I was taping up a door kneeling and sprained a knee lol. And I'm only 40

Anyone wake up with extremely sharp pain in their ankle for no reason? It happens every 3-4 months, extremely painful and walk like I have a sprain. Tomorrow or the next day it will be completely gone when I wake up. It's strange, but has happened for many years. I searched but it refers to long term illnesses like lupus and rheumatoid arthritis, which I have no signs of. Maybe just a pinched nerve? I've done nothing to injure it, no swelling, just very sharp pain.

Try a small pillow between the feet. You may be laying an ankle bone to an ankle bone while sleeping.

Been there with my foot. Gout is no joke whatsoever.

I am so old i do not take pills no more cause i hurt all over, but when i get up and feel good i take a whole bottle of Advil.
