Walther P22 review?

A friend of mine is trying to get his wife into shooting. She has agreed to a .22 for starters and like the feel of the P22. What can you guys share with me about it? She also liked the Sig Mosquito but I have seen several posts about it being ammo picky.

I have a p22. It can be picky too. I just started buying cci, and never looked back. No probs since

My walther ran fine for the first 10,000 rounds, after that it literally fell apart. Had to send it back to the factory twice. After that I sold it.

I have a p22 that has thousands of rounds threw it. I only have issues when I'm shooting thunderbolt ammo in it. It eats everything else without failure

I've shot a couple thousand rounds threw mine and the only thing it doesn't eat is sub sonic... I'd recommend it as a great first choice.

Another great choice for .22 pistol is the m&p 22. Same ergos as the full size m&p9, eats everything, and holds 12rds.

Or the Ruger sr22. I have both, the Ruger and the walther p22. I prefer the Ruger.

I bought a p22 the year they came out, mine only seems to be picky if it is dirty.
