Watched a cop abuse an animal pretty badly yesterday

He has to follow the procession, to stop traffic at another point.....it's a schedule they follow
All he had to do was get it out of the road. Anything that would have happened beyond that wouldn't have been his problem anymore. For some reason he figured the best way to do the job was to chuck it 20 yards.

I guess having a kitten in the backseat would have been too much of a risk. He had the chance to do a good thing or a bad thing and he chose wrong. Says a lot about his decision making abilities.

might want to check his instructions on carrying animals around in a patrol car....I can tell you I don't know, however I'd be willing to bet there is a rule about that

While I despise any mistreatment of animals like that, I do believe the cop tried to be somewhat gentle while "softball tossing" the kitten. At least he didn't football spiral throw or grenade toss the poor thing.... :behindsofa:

I have no issue with hunting, running livestock, riding horses, etc., But I have a serious issue with animal abuse. It takes a weak, broken, or deranged individual to abuse an animal. That could have/should have been handled differently. Dude sounds like a real tool, I'm sure he was picked on when he was a kid and that's just one of the many ways he retaliates.
