About this time of year I start having recurring dreams/nightmares that a deer like that walks by me and no matter how hard I squeeze the trigger, my rifle won't fire.

My self defense nightmare. The trigger won't move. Im looking for safetys, tryn to cock a hammer but the dang trigger wont move at all...

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite rifles. It's a Sako Greywolf in 260. I shot it today and forgot how accurate this thing can be.
I'll have a new one to add to the family tomorrow. I'll post it up then.
Thanks and yes, I hated to cut that old girl down but she was dying. No telling how old that oak was.

Love the model 7 it will probably be my primary this season.

I killed my first deer with a Model 7 in .243 when I was 9 years old...40 yards with iron sights. The rifle belonged to my older brother. I wish I had it. Jeweled bolt, wood stock, beautiful rifle.
