It’s a spare scope I had lying around, and I’m fine with a 10x for hunting purposes at quite a bit of distance. I used it for a successful head shot at 400yds, later in the evening, while it was snowing.

Now the 2.5-10x32mm has been repurposed, and I had a spare NX8!

She still shoots. 3 rounds at 100yds. Same Choice Ammunition 160grn Accubond load as last year.

Ran her out to 400yds. Going down to Cool Acres in Swainsboro next week to stretch her a bit further.

Spent a few hours at Cool Acres Sporting Camp last Monday. Got dope for every hundred yards from 100 - 1,000yds. Overjoyed with how accurate my hunting rifle with hunting ammo is.

A 160grn 7mm Accubond at 2889fps is pretty flat shooting. 29.5MOA of drop at 1,000yds.

Have you seen the Alpine CT version of this one? I think it’s going to sell very well, even with a MSRP around $2k.

Getting ready for elk season again. Flying out to Grass Range MT on October 26. Didn’t get drawn for a bull tag, so I bought a cow tag, and also a mule deer tag while I was at it. I really want the elk meat, but I won’t turn down a mule deer buck worth mounting.

Same rifle and suppressor as last year, but I moved a Nightforce NX8 F1 4-32x50mm onto the Weatherby instead of the previous Nightforce NXS Compact 2.5-10x32mm.

The Choice Ammunition shot so damn good, I decided to just buy some more. Headed down to Cool Acres in Swainsboro GA in a few weeks to get some solid dope. I’ll go to a minimum of 600yds, and quite possibly out to 1,000yds.

My Doc flew out this morning to Montana. I think it's Montana! He bought a 300 mag for it and had a special 5 port muzzle brake made. I saw a video of his friend firing I the range. The rifle didn't move an inch when fired. He said the muzzle rise was ridiculous before the new custom brake. There was zero in the video I saw. Good luck to all going!

Average of 10rds chrono’ed at 2889fps, with the Silencerco Omega mounted.

This rifle and ammo combo is certainly capable. Here’s 3 rounds at 100yds.

5 rounds at 400yds. Upper left was first 2 rounds. Made an adjustment down and right, and fired 3 more. The square head on that target is 6”x6”.

With modern manufacturing techniques, it’s amazing what can be done with production-line hunting rifle.

Big shout out to Choice Ammunition! This is phenomenally performing ammo.

All those groups are impressive to say the least. Looks like I am going to have to start a Weatherby fund effective immediately. Nice shooting!
