Think how bad this would have been if he was shooting a hollow point carry load rather than ball.

Use the pad of your finger, keep it straight and your good to go. Use your finger tip and it's going into the trigger guard. It's all about technique. I LOVE my SERPA.

IMHO, that's splitting hairs WAY to much for the real world when dealing with a firearm. Equipment needs to be as idiot proof as is practical.

Muscle memory busted his ass because he changed gear.

I think that is what occured also . He said he was practising with his Glock then switched to a different platform of firearm and 'BOOM goes the Dynamit"
