Well Now The C word just came into my life

My wife came at me like a bulldog a week ago when I walked through the room with my shirt off and wanted to know what a dark freckle on my chest was. She said I don't like it, how long has that been there. I told her I had no idea, I don't normally pay any attention to that type of stuff. I honestly don't remember if it was there before or not. I don't remember it being there, but I don't remember it not being there.


Her family has a bunch of skin cancer history, mine has none. She notices stuff like that, I don't. I had a doctor's appointment the next day anyway, so she told me to ask about it. Apparently, my Dr didn't like it either because I have a referral to see a dermatologist this Friday.

Scary stuff. Heal up fast man.

Just keep a close eye on stuff like that. Skin cancer is too easy to fix to just let it go. I've had some too

Glad you went to get it checked. I go to the dermatologist every year for a full body check. Last year she biopsied 3 spots, and thankfully they weren't anything to worry about. I'd rather her err on the side of caution!

Hang in there, get well. I have had two taken off, one on my left forearm and one bon my shoulder.. worse part for me was bthe shots bput all around them. Good luck!!

Been there with Mohs on my face. They went back in to get it all. Thought I was just going to be scarred forever, but surviving. It turned out ok. You'll heal up. Get checked on the regular.
