What are the point of dreams?

I tried looking up an old GF who was a good friend from 1989 -1995 before we hooked up & my drinking caused our break up , but we were social after that till I showed her my 14 months old in 2009. I have been worried about her cause she stayed with a messed up crowd & others after we hooked up .
I just hope she is well & I could find nothing about her online ( no obit Thank God either ) , I just pray she is well . Oh I loved her Kittys as well .
I really don't think there's any prophetic symbolism in today's dreams however, if in the middle of your dream you are in the middle of a gay bar then I think you have an issue. A very big issue! That's when I would be worried about what the dream meant. If you find yourself trying to sleep later in the morning to see how that dream plays out then I think you have to ask yourself some questions! LOL
Many years ago would dreams about things and few days later they would happen. I haven’t had any those in awhile.
Wow! Maybe God was trying to tell you something. I don't believe in modern prophets but I do believe God speaks to us in his own way.
I have felt that in my life several times. It was Devine intervention and was really gripping when you find out that he spoke to you. I listened and it saved my butt a few times. The feeling I got and the action I felt I should take was clear as day. I was very fortunate and I listened.

That's funny you said that. One of the four brothers I grew up with here in Virginia did that when he was a kid just to see what it was like. It messed him up bad. Enough voltage to make a cow not want to go near it went straight to his pecker. It woke him up! 🤣Vess, don't pee on the electric fence.........
Had to learn the hard way.......Don't most of us.......
When I had rural phones to repair, I'd frequently have to go into fields to get to an open wire route. Saw plenty of electric fences.
One day, had one I needed to climb over. Saw the ol' farmer sitting on the porch, yelled to ask him to turn it off. He nodded, reached behind him to the controller, then gave me an OK sign.
When I touched that thing it lit me up. Now he's laughing like crazy.
I took out my insulated lineman's pliers and cut that thing down, yelled to him "never mind, I got it".
He didn't think that was as funny.

Yeah kind of like Bart Simpson kept touching the stove burner. He would touch it and say " ouch "and touch it again and say " ouch " and did that until the next scene. LOL
