What are we wrenching on this weekend?

Replaced the front brake pads, cabin air filter and wiper blades on 2021 Honda CRV. Was expecting a two hour job but a little less than hour and ready to ride. Been several years since I’ve put on brake pads but saved $200.00 off what dealer quoted !
Great sir. Love seeing people handle what they can instead of paying others to do it. Save that money for more important things like ammo, toys….lol

I mean being a Pontiac I would hope that he went with something like the D port heads or the super duty heads and build the engine base on that setup. Today you can get cast iron heads made just like the originals and they don't cost as much as aluminum heads. I just normally assume people are like me and if they rebuild the motor they just have to spice it up a bit. I think you understand the curse. B basstracker89
Sorry to disappoint. It is a relatively mild rebuild that it just runs. It is not finicky or cold natured nor does it struggle to crank regardless of how long it has sat. Just hit the key and it fires right up. From the numbers it appears to be a factory 4 barrel engine but no HO or Super duty. It has an edelbrock intake, 650 holley, and headers. Not looking to go fast as I have other options for that but instead making a road trip car. I have a rebuilt 326 on the stand that I've even considered using but probably won't. Originally it was going to be my middle child's daily driver but trucks are the thing for teens these days.

After sorting suspension/steering stuff and building a rear seat delete, I have a front axle rebuild looming. Then fend flare holes to fill.. and cold start assist delete. And a dront seat swap.

Yes Sir,
Use those skills and save some $$$$.

Wanted hunt yesterday but with the wind, being tired, and working 12 today just didn't. So I mocked up receiver hitch on truck and vise gripped in place. Got to get some bolts and drill some holes. Bumper is bent and off center but i think hitchis centered. .
