Condition 1...and I've never seen a holster that covers the safety like the one posted here. Bad design...

What condition code to you carry a 1911?

Condition 1 on my DW Guardian 9. Why would you carry a 1911 any other way for CC.
We're talking about a 1911, not your avatar.-2. Like condition 0 except gun is in hand, AND finger inside trigger guard. Can't be too careful
Condition -3 would be all of that PLUS walking around everywhere with the gun pointed straight out in front of you.
Someone should just start a damn 1911 thread. I think I'll do that.

Also my Kydex holster from Cooks has an open slot for either so I asked them to heat it up and form it to safety on, so when I holster it, it locks in pretty smoothly, if I try and holster it with safety off its very difficult which immediately tells me it's not right.

CONDITION ONE IS WHAT IVE ALWAYS BEEN USED TO! BEEN CARRING THAT WAY FOR CLOSE TO 50 YEARS AND SEE NO REASON CHANGE.
