This highlights one of the dangers of using a processor. I wonder if a processor would bat an eye. The kids gutting them at lightening speed at the one I use would never even notice and just keep on keeping on..... 
I guess it could have been an abscess but we sure didn't see any damage anywhere on it. It looked like what the inside of your sinuses feel like when you have bad congestion. IDK. Wasn't my deer, one of the guys in my club killed it. He isn't going to eat it.
