What do you like to slide it into?

I wanted to see if I was the only one that loves and hates Kydex holsters.

They are: slim, light, form fitting and easy to find, but I think they wear on your pistols finish more than they should? They also don’t work if you change to a different pistol option.

I use leather now after some early experience with Kydex. I have a bunch of Kydex left hand holsters I’ve accumulated, but they aren’t interchangeable like leather can be and they cost more than they should.

What’s your preferred holster material to slide your pistol into? Sorry if I lead anyone to think I was talking about something else.

I don’t use anything other than leather . They are worth the money as it requires a quality stitching to stay together . I break most plastic holsters just by snatching it . Not to mention they are highly uncomfortable as that plastic digging into you is no fun at all. Leather does not do that

Both Leather and Kydex, but I go for the higher quality of each. Like everything, there's a cheap and a top of the line.

Gotta go with leather. No annoying scraping noise when you draw or re-holster.
Plus, the comfort factor and pride of ownership. Ever see a BBQ gun in Kydex?

I love those signs . I’m illiterate and so by visual reference my carry gun does not look like that one so they ain’t refurring to me .
