What is the dumbest thing you've seen/heard in a gun shop?

I am not new to the LGS....just started hearing and seeing an abundance of stupid there...
I walked into a gun store recently and asked to see a 357 or 44 magnum with at least a 6" barrel. The salesman(I think his name was Hasselhoff), said that he was happy to help and he showed me his .38 in an 4" barrel. I told him that it wasn't the caliber or length I was looking for and he grew quite upset. He called his manager(Laxguy) over to see if he could show me something that would meet my requirements. Lax said he had just what I was looking for. He proceeded to reach in his pants only to pull out out a 22 short snubnose. Needless to say, I left feeling disappointed and quite unsatisfied.
You say that here but I have witnesses that will testify that you plainly looked up and winked at me.
Was at CG&P the other day and over heard a fella talking about, how he couldn't wait to get himself a new Lever Gun and some 38 rim fire. I thought my head was gonna cave in, trying to hold back from laughing.
Same store, different day. The crate of Mosin Nagants where being molested by some hipster kids. Never seen so much derp over a $100 gun. It was funny watching them walk around the store covered in cosmaline. They got that **** everywhere. 5 of them walked out with smiles ear to ear holding them like teddy bears. The look on the guys faces behind the counter was priceless. Poor Rich, was bombarded with all the derp questions they had. The whole ordeal was entertaining to say the least.

I was in Florida at gun store and I overheard many conversations about how they going to take all our guns.. Lol. I kept hearing "When they come back from Christmas break they will ban them within 2 days!"
That's friggin' hilarious! Funny this conversation has come up now... When I was in the worlds biggest gun club (USMC), I worked the rifle range at Stone Bay. Well almost every week when we had new shooters, at least a dozen or so Devil's would load mags with the entire stripper clip, rounds and all into a magazine... I, to this day, cannot figure out how to do that! I would like to note, those who did this were POG's and POG brass....
I have to say that service was terrible and both of them were very short with me.
On a pop-up range in the Army, I watched a guy get so frustrated that he couldn't hit the targets, that in the middle of shooting he jumps up and throws his loaded, off-safe M4 in the general direction of the nearest 50 meter target.
