What is the ONE gun you have that there is no way you would sell or trade it?

Those are amazing. Could you possibly share the history behind them?
They apparently belonged to Charlie Blackwell
Charlie is one of my ancestors... He was a Captain of the Texas Rangers in one of the ranging companies I think around the 1860s he was well known there were articles about him and even endorsements. My dad found an old ad from a co-op or mercantile store that said "We have a new shipment of gaberdine suits from New York City... They'll keep you covered better than Captain Blackwell." In a picture of him with his 4 man company at the museum he is sitting his horse and you can see one colt holstered on his hip one set to cross draw at his waist and a Henry on his knee.

That's fascinating. Thank you for sharing that. Makes me wanna watch Lonesome Dove. :)

My father was into single shots so I found him a Marlin Ballard receiver at a gun show and gave it to him for Christmas. The next year he gave it back to me for Christmas after he had it built with a half octagon 22lr barrel, nice wood and the receiver case hardened.

Mine would be my dad's model 13 smith and wesson 357 magnum. He went on to be with Lord almost four years ago now, but "Bertha" will always live on. She will go to my son someday when i'm with my dad. He also left me a mint condition Winchester 30-30 still in case. Both guns are late 70's models.

Always wanted one of those!

Post up some pics!
