We got very lucky after Sandy Hook. Fortunately, Obama's wave had long since crested-and all the politicians knew it.
If something like that had happened near the first of his term, congress would have given him anything he wanted.
I have observed that any president gets whatever silly ass **** they want in their first year or so. (Obamacare.) We are extremely lucky that The turd-in-chief's star had fallen by the time sandy hook happened.
And to think that the event had no effect on the firearms market is pretty weak. Go out and get me a box of CCI 22 stingers at the local wal mart. (Even 2+ years out-you can't find 22 for ****.)
