UPDATED: better pictures. The good news is its has never been fired. The bad is top handguard has a chip in it and then bottom one has a rail screwed into it. Other than that is looks new. Figured you guys would like to see the new pics the others were horrible.

I've heard that these are amazing firearms - better functioning than an AK.

Downsides, the non-Century builds are expensive and they don't take standard AK mags .

I've read that the new Century builds that are going for less than $500 are crap.

They do NOT take AK mags. They look like AK mags but they are not, the VZ takes its own mag. Also judging by the finish of the rifle it looks to be a VZ2000 which is a century COPY of the VZ58. Not as good a quality as the czechpoint VZ rifles (GREAT rifles IMO) but still an OK rifle for the price.

I was under the impression that Century was buying spare parts and assembling them into whole rifles but that Czechpoint was importing rifles and then adding 922 r compliant parts - no?
