what rifle to pick deer hunting

I say use em all and have fun killin some deer with a variety of weapons

30-30 all the way. Light, fast and more than enough power for typical deer killing ranges in Georgia.
Of what you listed...I'd use the 30-30. I more partial to the .35 Remington...given that I have used the same Marlin 336 since I was in my teens. This year...I'm going to be toting a .25-06.
More than caliber, I would base my decision on the platform in which the gun was chambered. I would assume the 30-30wcf is a lever action, but which make? Savage made a 30-30wcf bolt action a well. Even more importantly perhaps, is the platform for the .303 chambering. Rifles chambered in .303 range from pleasurable to shoot, to extraordinarily uncomfortable an heavy. IMO
A low powered scope will solve that problem. You can get some VERY inexpensive scopes that would do just fine. What brand of rifle is it?
