What say you???

i live in an area that is mostly zoned agricultural. There is a total of 164 acres of mostly wooded land that surrounds my land. The present owner bought this land in 2014. He is selling it now. Supposed to be closing in July.
Here's my issue. Back in October 2016 the owner had his 164 acres fenced with barbed wire. Professionally done and no problem. EXCEPT,,,,, when they ran the fence along my property lines, they mistakenly cut my back side short 175 ft. Meaning they ran across the back of my property 175 feet too soon. I have been spinning my wheels ever since trying to get this resolved to no avail. I have copies of the platt / plot for his and my property and it plainly shows they goofed. But for 8 months now,,,,,, nothing. The soon to be new owner seems to not be very interested in getting it moved now or after he takes ownership Soooo,,,,,, What say you??
I don't know the laws in this state, but I have seen a guy that did the same try to take possession of the erroneously fenced property through squatter laws. I would file in court to have the fenced removed or to fenced the proper line, or both.

Oh I vented like hell, I just couldn't do anything to him or I would have been the one in jail.

I also just settled a fraudulent workman's comp claim simply because it cost less to do that than have her appeal the decision. Which is exactly what her lawyers said they would do. This was even with video of her sky diving from a helicopter three days after she says she was injured on the job. We also had witnesses that she admitted to have made a bad landing to. That's how she got injured.

Our legal system is so effed up it's just mind boggling.
There's no shortage of sorry asses out there that make a living gaming the system and ripping off honest hard working people.

It pisses me off to no end.

You can plot out the legal description bearings and distances on paper to see if it dimensions out like OP says.

Anyone can do it really, if they read it real close.

It will probably look like a P or a b on plotted out on paper.
If you're talking about the length of each property line, those distances are already given on the plat.

If you're talking about me figuring up the total area of the property, yes I can do that for the Lobo1 Lobo1 if he wants me to, but I don't think that'll help him much with the problem he's having.

Yeah, they just moved to California (sounds about right) and the husband bent a rim on his bike when he hit a pothole. Of course he is taking no responsibility for not paying attention and is suing the state for reimbursement. I would say that Darwin will make sure they won't reproduce if he's that careless on a motorcycle, but they have already determined they are too selfish to ever have children. And of course, they have derogatory things to say about anyone that does have kids.

To give you an idea about the IQ levels involved here, they had a hard time deciding if they wanted to support Sanders or Johnson in the last election. They thought they were almost identical politically and could not comprehend when I tried to explain that those two candidates were about as far apart in their political ideals as was possible in an American election.

Sorry for the thread hijack. I guess I'm not done venting about these assholes after all, but that's three people in the last year and a half that just decided they were going to take what was mine and the judicial system let them.

The OP needs to get proactive about this fence issue. The way things are I think he is in real danger of losing almost half his property. If you own it and someone else want's it, the deck is stacked against you right from the beginning.
