What was your 'dead unicorn'?

With all the hype around new guns and the sometimes completely illogical actions taken in acquiring them, what is that one you just HAD TO have. Then for whatever reason you never got and then just got over it?
For me it was a Judge. When first introduced I absolutely convinced myself I had to have one of those. Came up with all sorts of scenarios where they were just the perfect answer (none of which seem defensible anymore). Never got around to it (initially the availability was very difficult) and now, they are a complete 'meh' to me.

really wanted one for a long time, then found out 7.62x25 ammo got expensive all of a sudden and that the quality of IO inc sucks ass

saw a video of one where the damn hammer broke (lol) and didnt want one after that

Glock 24 with 357 Sig barrel.

It seemed like a really great idea at one point. Then, I discovered 10mm.

People want too much for their G24s anyway.

When I saw it two years ago I wanted one, I still do but a guess the ATF ruled it was to easy to make a can out of it so the design was nixed.

I still want it and it's .357 Sig conversion kit.....I'm a little bitter.
