Make sure to clearly understand your state laws. It is my belief, that in GA, the law does not state you can engage or pursue someone who has already committed a forcible felon. I wouldn't want to take that chance, because if the law doesn't clearly cover you, it is left up to the opinion of a prosecutor and 12 peers. Besides the fact, I would not want to place myself in harms way, except in the attempt to prevent the taking of a life (as I don't believe i could live with myself just standing by and watching).

My gun would be drawn, though I would try to conceal it from the perpetrator. You don't know what the perpetrator might do if they see you staring at them, and you definitely know what will happen if he see's you have a gun drawn.
