I think for me it would have to be the trade I made... I traded an XD40 SC for a 2002 like new Beretta 96. I shot the M9s in the Air Force and loved the feel but never had a love of the 9mm. So when I found out the 96 was in .40 I was on a quest to get one!

I went to a gun garage sale, family was selling deceased fatheres guns. I bought a ruger m77 .308, a ruger 22/45, a ruger p90 and a ruger security six 357. All of the pistols were stainless and had been well taken care of. I gave 700 for all of them. I was told I would get a call to come back the following weekend. The bad part of it is there were many guns for sale and I only spent half of the cash I brought. Should have went home broke. Wife was very angry till I showed her the value of each.

your a resourceful guy, but the property has taxes on it every year so it does cost you over time

The property taxes, due to it not having a structure on it, is only $140 per year.
