#1 Really not worth much...$25 maybe as a conversation piece.
#2 EAA .22. Looked great but horrible craftsmanship.Timing was off. Guy fixed it for nothing. Sold for $200.
#3 Pre 1920 Regulation Police in 38 S&W. Now one of my favorite small frame revolvers. Have seen them sell for $250+.

traded a guy a $100 bait caster combo and a $100 bow for a mint Remington 870 Supermag with 2 turkey chokes, carry case, and like 20 3 1/2 winchester supreme shells. Not the greatest but it'll do pig.

Not a deal that I received, but one I was involved in. Talking to my father in law, who was explaining that he wanted a compact semi auto that had night sights, more stopping power then a 9mm and was reliable as all get out. I went down to the safe pulled out a G27 w/trijicon sights I had purchased a year or two earlier. Handed it to him and said I think this is what you're looking for. He looked it over and said, I think this would do the job, how much do they go for and do you want to go and look for one this weekend. I said, you don't understand, this is for you. He almost fell out of his chair. He went on and on about how he couldn't take it from me. I said I have other pistols and besides, your daughter is safer here then a Diet Coke at Oprah's house. If it makes you feel any better I'll get it back when you depart this earth. He laughed and agreed to take it. I have found that it's always a good idea to keep the old man happy.

A buddy asked me to clean 2 Mosins for him and give them the once over. The one had a bent cleaning rod and some buggered screw heads. Cleaned them up and straightened the cleaning rod and did what I could with the screws. When he came to pick them up he asked me which one I liked the best and I told him. He told me to keep it for my trouble. I told him it was no trouble at all. He insisted. It is a 1915 stamped New England Westinghouse M91 with Finn rework stamps. It is accurate and I have killed 2 deer with it. Enjoy shooting it.

My uncle found my grandpa's army issued Colt 1911 that was made in 1914 or 1917 can't remember but it was issued to him in the army. Well my uncle is not really a gun guy but just wanted it for home defense. I told him since he didn't care what he had and just wanted a trust worthy pistol, I went and bought him a ruger p90 and just traded him. He was happy and now the 1911 goes into the safe to stay in the family. Cost me about $279 plus tax if I remember correctly.

My best ever was some years ago at a pawn shop in Mobile,AL. They had an old Enfield.303 that looked like a battlefield pickup from WW II. Got it for $25. It was just dirty as hell and stock was a little dinged up. I cleaned it up sanded and stained the stock put a cheap scope on it and sold it for $125 about a month later.

Bought an Encore with two Bullberry barrels and dies for $500, sold each barrel for $250 and the stocks went at $90. Couldn't complain about a free frame and $90 in my pocket.

I found a Kel-Tec P3AT at a pawn shop that ha barely been fired and was just dirty as hell. The guy running the store was not the normal gun guy and said "If you really want it I'll let it go for $80." I almost stumbled over myself agreeing with him. I took it home, cleaned it up and it worked like a champ. I sold it 3 months later for $200. I wish all deals were that easy....
