What's worse, Flippers or Low-Ballers?

Oy vey!! On and on with this "flipper" crap!!! Neither is worse. Let the free market be free!!! You ain't gotta buy from a "flipper". and you ain't gotta respond if someone offers you less than your "firm" price.

Flippers, there is a special place in HELL for those who profit from ammo flipping.

When you list an item your asking price is nothing more than that. A counter-offer, lowball, is a conversation starter between seller and buyer. If you, the buyer, do not like the offer just say no. It's probably nothing personal, just good contract business.

Sometimes "FIRM" is listed to keep away extreme low-ballers, but in reality, they might drop the price if a reasonable offer is presented. A lot of people post FIRM when they are asking $200 above retail on a used gun, which is just as insulting to ones intelligence as the guy who offers $300 for a $600 gun. If I posted a piece for $700 FIRM, and a guy offered me $680 and he would drive to me, Id take the $680, just my worthless 2 cents.

Maybe. If you had something for sale I could give you an example. My point is why bother making a lower-than-asking-price-offer when the ad reads FIRM?

my friend had a hunting rifle of his listed a few months ago on armslist, this one guy constantly called him about the rifle with low-ball offers, my friend almost sold the rifle to him because he was going into the navy, about 3 days later i found his rifle re-listed for a higher price with a different phone number on it WITH THE SAME PHOTOS, it was the low-balling asshole trying to sell the rifle before he even bought it. (i confirmed the phone number)

i called the guy for a couple day asking about the rifle, i was being dick over the phone to him (it was very fun), until i finally told him that i knew he did not own the rifle, and to take his listing down. he completely denied all of it but the listing was down in 20 minutes.

Interesting story, the most interesting part is you are neither the seller nor the buyer and you felt so inclined to stick your nose in it. Maybe you should take up some sort of hobby. Its the same thing with "flipping" ammo. People sticking their nose in other peoples business. If I sell a box of 22lr 500 pack for $50 how do you know that I marked the price up? How do you know what I paid for it? You don't, instead all of you people make an assumption and act like a bunch of whiney ass libtards.
