Given the current climate we're in I was curious to know what everyone was willing to pay for ammo based on your budget, stockpile, or just outlook on what the future holds. I think opinions should be limited to these common calibers:

- 22lr
- 9mm
- .40sw
- .45acp
- .223/5.56
- 7.62x39(?)

Personally I'm not going to spend more than $27 per brick of .22lr, $14 per 50 rounds of 9mm or more than $.50 per round of .223. Of course thats subject to change if I my stock gets low enough.

Not going to pay more than regular price. Ill just wait till it all blows over. $40-50 a brick for .22 is just stupid. Lol they haven't stopped making ammo so why the rush to pay crazy prices ?

Once I'm out of reloading components, I'll have to get used to the"new" prices of things... But that time is about four years away.

If I were buying commercial ammo, then my price limit is about what others have said above.

I was typing a reply to this when I realized I should just make a separate thread. I want to bring up a different point that that is somewhat related. Recent posts regarding prices have frustrated people and caused arguments (I'm not referring to y'all). I'm glad the OP started this because he gave me an idea and got my mind working on a new idea.

Prices that I'd pay below are per round and include tax/shipping for range ammo. I'd pay $25 for a brick of 22, $18 for a box of 9mm, and $8 for a box of 223.

- 22lr - $0.045 (haven't found it)
- 9mm - $0.36 (paying more because I need it)
- .45acp - i dunno but I need some, what was pre-panic price?
- .223/5.56 - $0.40 (haven't found it)

- 22lr 20-25 for the normal stuff 55-60 per 500 on stingers and other specialty ammo.
- 9mm I only use FMJs so around 60- 75 for the 250rnd wal-mart stuff
- .40sw don't use
- .45acp over stocked
- .223/5.56 35-45 cents per round for Lake city ss109/m855s
- 7.62x39(?) 5 bucks a box for tulammo at walmart. So .25 cents per round
