Where to find a Savage mkii fv-sr??

I've really enjoyed my BSA sweet 22, I chose the 6-18 instead of the 3x9 because if you want to put one in a squirrel eyeball, it's much easier(especially with a consistent rifle like the MKII FVSR). Also, with the set markings on the turrets with the bsa sweets it's much easier switching from cb longs to cci quiets to sub sonics, back to regular bulk ammo. Just learn where to set for which range, you can be very, VERY accurate.

I've got a BSA sweet 22 on mine and I love the scope. And you can use medium scope rings.

wow, the price on those BSA scopes is all over place from 39.00 to 129.00. THE DIFFERENCE SEEMS TO BE THE SIDE FOCUS VS. THE AO AJUSTMENT.
Is the side focus worth that much more?

No, not at all. I paid 55 bucks each for both of mine and I love em

My Boyd's Tacticool stock came in yesterday. Also got the DIP bottom metal... What exactly is involved in mounting it? Did it drop right in, or was there something else required? Any insight you could offer here would be appreciated.

Slightly late on the response and I see someone already answered. Hope it went together as easy as mine. Great upgrade from the factory stock no doubt.

It did go together easy. No problems, also asked a smith who's opinion I trust if it would really be worth bedding it. He said all things considered, it was a phenomenal fit. Once I get the rest of the stuff together, I'll post some pics.

Awesome man. I had read a lot about people bedding them but after getting mine together and shooting it I really don't see the need for my personal use. Awesome lil gun that satisfies my urge to shoot and will same me a lot of money in ammo.

i heard that! Until I can get my suppressor out of jail, I picked up some super colibri ammo to plink at the tree-rats in stealth mode.

Bought mine Yesterday at Adventure Outdoors for $229. They also had a semi auto FVSR with a cooler stock for $289..... Im kicking myself for not getting that one.
