As the title suggests, which reloading book should be the first for me to read? Santa left me some $ to start reloading as a hobby

thanks

Eddie

I read "the ABCs of Reloading" and I am now working on the 49th edition of the "lyman Reloading Handbook."

Both cover some of the same stuff..... But I think together they seem to provide a good overview of what you are getting into.

I started with the abc's as well

-It is a good place.... The guy has some great cautionary tales... (Like the man who worked at the primer factory and was carrying around a whole bucketful one day. Didn't end well for him-but most likely true.)

I'm gonna go with the Lee Precision Classic Cast Press, the single stage to start, a scale, some scoops for the powder. I figure since I'm learning, I should learn from the ground up and not be in a rush.

Yeah it's informative and not over the top technical, decent place to start
