Which Colt AR model?

I've been looking at different ARs but I just keep coming back to the Colt. Not sure if its because they might not be around much longer or because they have supplied the military with ARs for so long or what but I'm going to get a Colt for sure. Maybe my next factory one will be LMT or BCM but for right now I want a pony.

Neither have I for the longest time. Then doing the panic in 2012 I really wanted one, back when they came with the carry handle. Then I kinda forgot about ARs in general once everything died down and I figured they weren't going anywhere and I started building my own. Now as I start to revisit getting a factory AR my budget has increased and instead of getting a regular LE6920 I started looking at the SOCOM model and since I can't find them because Colt doesn't make that configuration anymore I've wanted one even more.

Yea I saw that. I do have a spare lower but I just want to get a complete factory rifle.

Buy the upper from Shemp, buy one of the $750 6920s and sell the upper . I realize I'm not helping...

You know the more I think about it that actually ain't a bad deal. If I got a OEM 1 and slap that upper on the Colt factory lower...

A lower is truly a lower, but I understand wanting the rollmark. I want a BCM lower for the same reason. But yeah, you can get a 6920 with one of the funky Magpul color combos on it for about $750.
