Who mounts a Nightforce on a Marlin levergun!?

Honestly, it’s laying around because I don’t like it at all. I bought a couple of Vortex scopes instead. I put a Vortex on the AK, so now the NightForce is just laying around again. I regret buying them damn thing.

I got a lot of nikons laying around lol. Nice setup its going to be fun to shoot. I'm the weirdo that pulls the scope off of every lever I get. I loves the peep sites, but I don't hunt with them. Beautiful setup!

I've got several leverguns that I run with peep sights. A Winchester 94 .30-30, a Marlin .444, and I'll be hunting elk in Montana next year with a Winchester 71 .348 Winchester with a bolt-mounted peep sight. That gun was made in 1942.

I bet you would, I prefer it to be a safe queen till I get another rifle. And if I like the rifle I will once again replace it with a Vortex.

My experience as well. Usually Marlin 30-30 and Winchester 70 30-06 . A couple “rich Folks” had Brownings or Weatherby. 30-30 for the brush and 30-06 for field/pasture.

It’s the NX8 1-8 with a damn horseshoe looking reticle. I believe it’s the only reticle they come in.
