I change mine myself and always use synthetic oil. 8.8 qts. Worth. Todays oil and filter $125 out the door.

I do my own oil changes also, but I ended up out-of-town for an extended time and oil change came due. Stopped at one the Quicky Lube type places (can't remember the brand), but 8 quarts of Synthetic and a filter was very close to $150.
