Why are you not an ODT supporter???

I was a paid member up until just recently. When I received a warning for questioning the absurdity of someone starting a GoFundMe site for a sick ferret, I figured the powers that be at ODT had Jumped the Shark and I would just hold onto my $15.

Just curious, I see tons of members on here with tons of feedback and yet they are not ODT supporters. WTF? If you have 25 or even 50 positive feedback I am pretty sure you made the $15 it takes to support ODT....

So if you are one of these non-supporters that has 25 or more deals please help me understand why you are not a supporter....

Was one when ODT was ODT. Now mediators judge based off of friendship status and "who's gun is bigger!" And ...who they can profit from for beneficial of themselves! My views might change one day...but not soon

I believe I'm still a supporter, though I'm not inclined to renew. In earlier years I was a strong proponent, but I think the site is more self sufficient these days. I also benefitted a lot from trading back then, something I rarely do these days.

I sent a check back in May but supporter status has not showed back up.

PM Sent! Sometimes I get checks that don't have a user name on them and I just hang on to them until someone claims it.

When I joined I thought the supporter status was forever once you donated. Didn't know mine expired?

A couple things can happen that can cause your lifetime status to drop by accident. If anyone thinks they should have a lifetime supporter subscription please send me a pm so I can check it out.

I was a supporter for two or three years. It expired a while back and I didn't even know. After I noticed, I decided to just let it ride. Why? Because sites this size don't require supporters in order to continue operating. They are self sufficient. I'm active on a handful of other large forums, most of which I have much greater success when selling items. None of those sites require supporter status and in most cases, it's not even offered. Yet they somehow avoid the us vs them, guilt-trip bullcrap that seems to go along with it here on ODT. And quite frankly the content and discussion ain't what it used to be.
