Reliability and outright indestructibility. Requires almost zero maintenance. After decades of owning them I have so many holsters, magazines, etc that it would require something truly groundbreaking to justify replacing them with another platform.

Price and availability is also a factor. They are cheap enough and so available that I can easily replace one or acquire a spare if needed.

I have offices in other states and have Glocks locked up in relatives or coworkers safes in those areas so when I fly in I can have one without the hassle of flying with a handgun.

I don't think I fall into a specific category listed. If I needed a new striker fired pistol I probably wouldn't get a Glock. But they were affordable and available when I was in need of one and since they haven't broken I still have and use them.

And at the time I was in the market, the PDP's and M&P's hadn't developed the cult following they now possess. They are what I'd likely lean towards if I'm in need once more.

I haven't got to get my hands on a G47 and supposedly they are the ultimate jam. If the hype is real maybe I'd pick one up at some point.

Because they rest so beautifully on my moobies!

I DONT shoot Glocks, but I don’t dispute the reliability and convenience of that product.

They don’t “point” well for me and I have to adjust my aim every time I use one. Split seconds win gun confrontations, if I have to adjust that may make the difference.

I have a few, and would use one if it was mandated.

Because I win 1 every year at their matches. No other manufacturer offers anything close to the experience and promotes their products in this manner.
Competitive shooting experience that is fun. Safety training for new and casual shooters. Chances to win random prizes even if you can't shoot worth a crap, like me, lol.
