Why don't people like the 40 cal?

The 40's do have slightly more recoil than a 9mm & others, but the trick is to shoot your weapon & it becomes second nature to you!!

If the 40 has too much snap why do have stuff like the 454, 460, 500 and lord help us the 10mm.
