Why Most Guys Never Kill A Big One

I pretty much will do what I want on our lease legally. Does not effect anyone else. never cared about big mature bucks. I just love to hunt, and usually do shoot the does for meat. Taste better than any tuff mature buck.

I'd probably let it walk. You can't kill the little racks if you want some serious antlers to mount,but that's just me.

I have come to the conclusion that the area I hunt doesnt hold many if any 150 inch deer, I could pass on deer for the next 15 years and never see one that size.
I have never got any on trail cam nor seen any at the cooler that most guys take them to for processing. I have found sign and hunted over it in years past but the deer ended up being 110 at best and you can bet if he wanders onto the neighboring land he will be shot on sight. You do need nutrition AND genetics to grow big bucks and Paulding county has very little of either.
