Why the steep price on the ODT

I am trying to figure out why this gun is going for 1200 to 1300 on the ODT when they are 800 new. I would appreciate it if someone could clue me in to the reason behind this.

Here's the difference.

Buds is selling for a price based on accepted margin, and to be competitive with competition.

Private sellers are selling for what they hope they can get. A best case scenario based on the fact that them owning the gun has probably increased the guns value.

That's really it.

I've gotten so used to seeing prices on here that if I went into a LGS I'd be tempted to buy 10 guns because of the perceived great price.
