The story was up for a couple of days with misinformation. They should have made a comment at the bottom of the article why it was edited.

It has always struck me as irresponsible when a sworn law enforcement agent does not know the laws they swore to uphold. No one knows everything, but one would think as a sworn officer you would know most or most of the key, critical, and crucial laws.

The Dalton PD page is wrong BTW. GA no longer has a "Public Gathering law".
